I will be participating in the “Indie Author Day” event hosted by The Cedar Rapids Downtown Library this month. I look forward to seeing everyone there.

The Cedar Rapids Downtown Library is pleased to host Indie Author Day.  It is the inaugural Indie Author Event and will be simultaneously hosted at libraries across North America. There will be an Author Reception, Symposium and Welcome followed by an online National Digital Gathering. From 2 pm to 4:30 pm the local Writer’s Expo and book-signing event will be held in the Whipple Auditorium of the library.

Date: Saturday October 8, 2016

Time: 12:00PM – 4:30PM

Location: Cedar Rapids Downtown Library

450 Fifth Ave SE

Cedar Rapids, Iowa 52401

As a follow-up to the Meet The Authors Event last month, I have attached two photos. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, as the event was well attended and it was good to see friends and meet many new people.

Be sure to meet Anneliese Heider Tisdale as she is an amazing person with an interesting true story of her youth in war torn Germany. Her first book contains her experiences as a young women and her family German recipes that are truly wonderful. I cannot wait for her second book to learn of the next chapter in her life and what came next.
